About Us

Our Farmers

Situated in Little Bay, New Hampshire, at the mouth of the picturesque Oyster River, our farm holds the proud distinction of being the oldest oyster farm in the state. Since 2009, we’ve been cultivating premium oysters in the nutrient-rich waters where the bay and river meet—a location perfectly suited for producing exceptional shellfish.

With over 70 years of combined aquaculture expertise, our farmers bring unparalleled knowledge and passion to every aspect of oyster farming.

Our mission is simple: to craft the finest fresh oysters, combining time-honored techniques with sustainable practices that honor the environment and the communities we serve.

Our Oysters

Wagon Hill Oysters are our premium select oysters between 3-4" with a deep cup, medium brine and full complex flavor

Little Grizzly Oysters are our petite 2.5-3.0" oyster also with a deep cup, medium brine and a bright fresh flavor

Wagon Hill and Little Grizzly Oysters are proudly featured in oyster bars and fine restaurants across the Northeast—and beyond. Known for their exceptional flavor and quality, our farmed oysters have become a favorite.

Our Farming process

Our oysters begin their journey as locally sourced seed, measuring just half an inch. For the first 18 months, they are carefully cultured in protective mesh bags, safeguarding them from predators like green crabs. During this time, we grade and tumble the oysters regularly to shape their shells and strengthen them.

Once the oysters reach approximately 2 inches, they are graded again and either continue growing in mesh bags or are planted directly on the seabed. Over the next 6 to 12 months, they undergo additional tumbling and grading as they mature to market size.

After 2 to 3 years of dedicated care, our oysters are harvested and ready for your enjoyment. We take pride in nurturing each oyster to ensure the finest quality for our customers.
